ah yes. cambree is a good dog. she ate the stinkbug that’s been flying around the living room annoying me for the past five hours.

gonna go shower and use my lilac soap for the first time :)

if anyone freakin touches my lilac soap i will give them paper cuts while they sleep and then squeeze lemons over them

but seriously why is there a bunch of glass and a bullet shell buried in our yard? like what did the people who lived here before us do? shoot beer bottles and then just bury the glass?

This photo sums up our relationship nicely, I think. Cambree thought Aidan was going to attack me, so she’s guarding me.

i was talking about what i learned in history today about Iran (specifically  how the U.S. and Great Britain placed severe sanctions on Iran for nationalizing their oil fields and later how the U.S. under the CIA assassinated Mossadeq) with my dad and brother. and my dad told me he thinks i’m a communist and if the U.S. sucks so bad why don’t I leave. idk why he clings so hard to the notion that you can’t appreciate something (such as all the freedoms U.S. citizenship grants us) while also pointing out the faults of our government. it isn’t anti-patriotic to say “hey the U.S. has fucked up before, especially when it comes to foreign relations and interfering in other nations’ disputes and in doing so exacerbating their problems (see the funding of Iraq in the Iran/Iraq war) and definitely will again.” nah dude. that’s just being aware. things that you like aren’t beyond reproach, even governments, especially governments.
